My Amazing Birthday Gift

Today for those that don't know was my 30th birthday. My awesome husband had his friend paint this beautiful portrait of Gabriel and I. I absolutely love it! What a perfect gift!

10 Month - a - Birthday!

Today, Gabriel turned 10 months old! Hard to really believe! Here are some pictures of him taken throughout the day. My sweet little boy.

It's Now Really Official!

Yesterday, Gabriel was recognized by the courts of FL as our son. He is officially Gabriel Alejandro and there is no turning back. What a journey we have been on and it's only really beginning now.

My Human Shredder

Most of you know that I work from home now and have to shred all documents once a file has been closed. I laid out my files on the floor to put them through my shredder. Little did I know, I had a human one to do it for me.

Happy 9 Month - a - Birthday!

Today marks Gabriel's 9 month - a - birthday! Oh how time flies by! It's so hard for me to believe that he has been in our lives for nine months, whether in Guatemala or here with us. He is such a blessing to Greg and I and everyday we are in awe that he is home for good - forever. There are days it seems he has been with us forever. But we never dismiss or forget the journey it took to bring our son home ~ it simply humbles us and makes us realize that everyday is a blessing and we are truly thankful.

This picture was taken earlier today. I knew it was too quiet in my home office. I turned to find him passed out. I guess Target, the UPS Store and Michael's did him in today.

Gabriel's Nursery

Here are some pictures of Gabriel's nursery. We went with a safari theme because I didn't want anything too baby since he came home at almost 7 months. I absolutely love his room! We painted and wall papered it ourselves. Well, our friends Natalie and Jason helped to paint and Natalie and I did the wallpaper only to realize this was our first and last job. :)

Back to work...

Sorry I haven't blogged in a couple days, but Gabriel and I have been getting used to me working from home. I started back on Monday. So far so good. I honestly cannot complain. Gabriel is such a great baby. We have a lot of one on one time during the day and then daddy comes home around 5:30pm to help me out.

I promise to take some pictures of his nursery. It's just hard for me to do this while it's just me at home since I have to keep my eyes on him 24/7. It only takes seconds for him to get into trouble and find himself in some predicament. I will try and get around to taking them tonight. Thanks for being so patient for those pix.

8 Month - a - Birthday!

Gabriel turned 8 months today! Here's a picture of him today at the King Fish Grill in Vilano Beach (near St. Augustine). Greg's parents were visiting so we met up with some friends of theirs and had lunch.

One Month Today!

Today marks one month since Gabriel was handed over to us - forever. We are absolutely in love with our son. He is such a precious gift from God and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to raise him and watch him grow. Time really does fly by and we are making sure to cherish each and every moment.

I'm sorry it's been awhile since I have blogged, but life has been so busy especially with the holidays in there as well! I wanted to post one of my favorite pictures of our little man. We are in awe of him and so very thankful to God for allowing us to be Gabriel's parents. He is the light of our lives and he definitely completes the Voss family.
